How To Buy A Home: Step 3 – Time To Be Pre-Approved

If you do not have the cash on hand to buy a house outright (or prefer to finance your purchase), you will need get a pre-approval in the beginning of your home buying process. In this video, we give an overview of what a pre-approval is and why it is a key step in accomplishing your 2020 real estate goal of buying a home.  Your home hunt can have many twists and turns, but laying a strong foundation makes the home buying process much easier. Your trusted lender will provide you with an accurate, up-to-date pre-approval to help facilitate your home search and will also help you troubleshoot problems as they arise. As we learn how to buy a home together, I cannot strongly emphasize enough the importance of starting off the mortgage process correctly. Given how important the numbers are both to your bottomline and your competitiveness in the market when buying a home, you want to be able to get your pre-approval quickly and be able to reach your lender with any questions or concerns.
